It’s not everyday that a full solar eclipse happens right in the middle of where you grew up. We just had to travel to southeastern Idaho to catch the cosmic event of the century.
Around 11:30 am the sky will go dark for just over two minutes. The stars will come out, the temperature will drop and we can look right at the moon covering the sun. (with special glasses) It’s sure to be out of this world.
I love bringing my family to where I grew up. It’s a completely different pace from where we live now. My kids are in constant amazement of the lifestyle in this area and more importantly they love being around grandpa and grandma and their cousins!
n honour of the eclipse, I’m sharing some of my favourite black pieces that are easy staples year round. I hope everyone takes a chance to watch or learn about this specular event! Eclipse2017 will not disappoint!
