“Life starts all over again when it gets crisp in the fall.” I wish I wrote that but, F. Scott Fitzgerald beat me to it. Don’t you feel this way about fall? September is my fresh start and maybe it’s because of the change that happens all around us.
Our leaves are golden and red, the days are cool and I’m even considering baking. Clearly something must be in the air! Adding subtle touches of fall inside, remind me that change is good and necessary. For the month of September, Erika and I have been focusing on making little changes. It’s actually surprising how hard it is to replace habits and add new ones. I’m using these little changes inside my home to remind myself of the new path I am on and the new opportunities that await.
It’s been a month of challenge and change. Most of all it’s been a month to enjoy the beauty that surrounds us. Fall is here! Inside and out.
