Being pale skinned (like very) and blonde, it’s obvious when a colour just doesn’t look right on me. I love wearing neutrals but often run the risk of being very washed out and looking so pale I’ve actually had people ask me if I’m sick!
I’m am constantly trying to combat my vampire skin and balance out my love of neutrals and soft colours. One way I do this is by taking a colour that I really like and making sure there is a richness to the tone. I can wear these neutral colours if the tone is right. I need a bit more saturation to the colour so it absorbs the natural colour of my skin without making me look translucent.
People with darker skin can get away with the more pale version of this colour. I need the version with more saturation to the colour.
Here are some different shades and shapes of one of my favourite colours – camel! And my crossbody bag is from Old Navy – can you say amazing price point!
