Fashion trends that you want to follow or should follow abound this spring! As always, fashion weeks around the globe highlights the popular trends to follow, but executing them in a casual and realistic way is an entirely different game. Here are some of the fashion trends for spring, that you can easily follow. We like classic looks and these trends are in line with our simple style.
Wear Lavender this Spring
Lavender is one of the it colours to add to your wardrobe. If you want to stay on trend this spring, this soft colour is an easy way to do just that. Plus, it doesn’t have to be just plain old lavender, any tone will do!
Head to Toe Neutrals
Burberry is the iconic fashion house that has been showing us great neutrals for 163 years. They obviously have a good thing going. This is one of the easiest ways to look casual and chic. Wearing all white, all tan, all black or all grey are simple ways to create a neutral look. Mixing up these colours are also on pointe but to seriously execute this head to toe neutral trend, dress in the same colour or a tone on tone. White with cream, light grey with charcoal, different shades of kaki are all examples. You can even take a simple jacket like this one and wear it casual or dressy. Here are the classic Burberry trenches and you can read more here about our thoughts on investing in one.
Paisley and Scarf Pattern Prints
Statement patterns and prints are taking a distinctive turn this spring and paisley is leading the pack. Though it’s popular for spring 2019, Paisley actually dates back to the early 1800’s when weavers in Paisley, Scotland dominated the market. For 2019, paisley can be found on scarves, blouses and even pants. If you want to take on this trend, there are so many classic ways to do it. This J.Crew dress, this scarf and this pair of pants are some of my favourites.
Isn’t blue just the best! Blue has to be one of my favourite colours and making it work for spring is so very simple. J.Crew has the prettiest line up of pale blue, everything from earrings to dresses in the most darling shades of this perfect colour for spring!
