We have no time for anything right now. One of us waited until the screaming last minute to Christmas shop and other one of us can’t seem to stop shopping. Combine all that with work, Christmas events and trying to get the most out of the season and it’s chaos time. Seriously, who has time to think about what they’re wearing?
Right now we have time to quickly get dressed and that’s about it. We don’t have time to over think things or spend hours in the closet. Times like these call for some serious streamlining in the wardrobe department.
Tone on tone looks have always been a staple for me. I love how the neutrals work together to create a polished look. This grey sweater adds some softness and texture to my outfit as well. Plus, it FINALLY snowed here and it’s a great warmer sweater.
Denise is also keeping things simple with a go to plaid top and black jeans. This look is very understated. To make it pop just a little she added a necklace with some bling to it. The finished look is more refined yet still very casual.
The thing is, looking good and feeling good are so intertwined. It’s hard to just let yourself go and be at the top of your game. Focusing on great basics will get you there.
Our to do lists are a bit overwhelming right now and spending lots of time on how we look isn’t at the top of it. Simplify where you can and enjoy a more effortless look. Good luck with all the last minute details everyone!! We can do it!
