Right about now, winter clothes start to loose their appeal for me. It’s a problem. We still have so much winter left and dressing warm is not an option. Now that we’ve said goodbye to January, I’ll work on enjoying cozy sweaters and snow days. I will try ver hard to remember that our winter days are numbered.
I’ve decided to really get the most of my winter wardrobe. I’ve worn key pieces and now, I’m starting to really focus on adding a bit more colour to the neutrals that are in my closet.
This plaid shirt is the perfect weight for layering. It is made of cotton but the weave is fairly loose and it just seems to move well.. even thought it’s under the weight of sweaters on most days.
I love it when a bit of colour pops through your sleeves and neck. It really breaks up the otherwise all black look. It’s so easy to fall into a colour trap and continually wear the exact same colours (#soguilty) This subtle pop really gives the outfit more of a fun playful look.
With so many sales and steels happening right now, it’s a great time to replace worn out looking sweaters. A basic black one is just one of those wardrobe essentials. Have a good day everyone!
