It’s been just over a year since we jumped into the influencer industry. That’s one year of constant posting and engaging on Instagram, one year of blog posts of web design, one year of photo shoots, one year of constant research, one year of laughs, one year of frustration and most importantly, one year of learning.
We have never reached our full potential. I can say this now looking back because I think this is ultimately what motivated Denise and I to jump off the diving board at an age most influencers aren’t even close to seeing. Being older has it’s perks. We know who we are and the message we want to share has been carefully honed over the past few decades of life experience.
Even though we were friends before, I’ve learned lots about Denise. She is organized and accountable. She is constantly learning and pushing us both to be better. She has a sense of style that just keeps getting sharper with age. She has a sense of humour that is shocking and sarcastic. She keeps me grounded when I am off in left field thinking we can now run for President and Prime Minister respectively.
Marketing and influencing has kept us learning. Most of all, it’s made us realize, you’re never too old to do anything!
